Work will be carried out on Amersfoort Centraal during the summer holidays (from 6 July to 18 August). As a result, fewer and sometimes no trains will be running. Buses are used when trains are not running. We list all the information for you.

It is the first time since the existence of Amsterdam Centraal that the trainstation will be shut
Work at Amersfoort station will start on Saturday 6 July and end on Sunday 18 August. As a result, fewer trains will travel to, from and through Amersfoort Centraal. Some weeks, there will be no trains running to, from and through Amersfoort Central. You can see below which weeks these are.
Note: from 13 to 28 July, and from 15 to 18 August, there will be no trains at all to, from and through Amersfoort Centraal.
At Amersfoort Centraal, ProRail will start renewing all switches and signals and renewing train safety. This mean kilometres of cables and pipes will need to be renewed. ProRail hopes to have fewer issues at Amersfoort Central after the summer.
Replacement transport: buses
Train operators travelling to, from or via Amersfoort Central will deploy buses on these routes. So travellers can still get to their destinations.
