No trains from, to, and via Amsterdam Centraal station
From 3 to 5 October, ProRail will carry out work on the train tracks around Amsterdam Centraal station. Take the metro instead of the train.
Construction work by ProRail in the province of Noord-Holland
In October, there are multiple routes in Noord Holland where trains can not operate. We made a list with routes and dates for you.
No trains between Bergen op Zoom station and Goes station
ProRail will carry out work on the Zeeuwse Lijn from 1:00 AM on Friday 2 October until 5:00 AM on Monday 5 October.
Engineering works between Driebergen-Zeist station, Ede-Wageningen station, and Arnhem Centraal station
From 20 to 31 October, no trains will run between Driebergen-Zeist station, Ede-Wageningen station, and Arnhem Centraal station. NS will provide replacement buses.
No trains between Roermond station and Venray station
On 3 and 4 October, no trains will be operated between Roermond station and Venray station. NS will provide buses.
No trains between Groningen station and Zuidhorn station
Engineering works will take place on the train tracks between Groningen station and Zuidhorn station from 16 to 18 October. NS will provide replacement buses.
Engineering works at Gouda station
From 4:00 AM on 17 October until 2:00 AM on 26 October, ProRail will carry out work on the train tracks around Gouda station.
Fewer trains to, from, and via Amersfoort Centraal station
From 12 to 18 October, ProRail will carry out work on the train tracks around Amersfoort.Long term construction work
Engineering works between Alphen aan den Rijn station and Bodegraven station
From 12 October 2026 to 13 July 2027, ProRail will replace the Gouwespoorbrug near Alphen aan den Rijn. The new bridge will be less prone to faults.
Papendrechtsebrug (bridge) (N3) closed
From 17 July 2026 to 21 April 2027, the Papendrechtsebrug will be closed. All buses that normally cross the bridge will therefore run on diversion routes.
