Amsterdam is easily accessible by train. Ensure you have a valid ticket or check in and out with an OV-chipkaart, debit/credit card, or Apple Pay. You can also purchase an e-ticket in the 9292 app, ensuring you have a valid ticket on your phone.
During events like Pride Amsterdam, there might be less public transport considering the crowds present in the city. Some buses and trams will not be driving or might drive an alternative route. Make sure to check your route in the 9292 app before you leave. Our planner will keep you up to date about any delays and/or disruptions.

During the Canal Parade on Saturday August 3rd, it will be extremely busy in Amsterdam. Some parts of the city will be closed off completely to all traffic. Cars are not allowed to drive and park on the Prinsengracht from 00:01 AM until 11:59 PM on Saturday August 3rd.
Travel with the metro to the Prinsengracht from train station Amsterdam Centraal or train station Amsterdam Zuid. Metro line 52 will bring you from Centraal Station or Station Zuid to station Vijzelgracht within 10 minutes. Enjoy the parade!
