
Overview of construction work by ProRail in Groningen
From 10 May to 12 July, ProRail will be working on the railways in the province of Groningen. In this overview, we list the construction works happening in May, June, and July.
Do you have to travel from, to, or via Groningen during this period? Plan your trip in the 9292 planner or in the 9292 app. This way, you are always up to date about delays and disruptions. Make sure to check your journey just before departure to avoid surprises.
10 and 11 May
No trains from, to, and via Groningen station
No trains between Groningen station and Groningen Europapark station, Zuidhorn station, Eemshaven station, and Delfzijl station.
NS will provide replacement buses.

No trains between Groningen station and Groningen Europapark station
NS will provide replacement buses.
It takes about 5 minutes to cycle from Groningen station to Groningen Europapark station. If you are able, use an OV-fiets.
Please note – If you return your OV-fiets at a different location than where you rented it, you will have to pay extra.

between Haren Transferium station and Haren station.

Arriva will provide a bus service between Groningen station and Veendam station, and between Groningen station and Bad Nieuweschans station.
