NATO Summit 2025: consequences for public transport
The NATO Summit will take place in The Hague on 24 and 25 June 2025. This event will require many security measures which will impact accessibility of The Hague by public transport (and other means of transport).
From Sunday 22 June (17:00) to Friday 27 June (05:00), a number of (major) roads will be closed from Amsterdam to The Hague (link Dutch only). People who live and/or work in this area are advised to refrain from traveling by car during this period.
Do you have to travel from, to, via, or in The Hague during this period? Plan your trip in the 9292 planner or in the 9292 app. This way, you are always up-to-date about diversions and delays. Make sure to check your journey just before departure to avoid surprises.
Travelling from, to, or via to Den Haag Centraal station by train
Trains from, to, or via Den Haag Centraal station will travel according to the regular timetable. However, trains are expected to be busier than usual considering road users may opt for public transport instead.
