Tips for travelling to the airport
Travelling to the airport by public transport is very convenient. You don’t have to worry about expensive parking or traffic jams on the road, and your luggage can simply travel along with you.
Still, we want to give you some tips for travelling to the airport by public transport, so you can be well prepared.

Leave on time – It may be a good idea to catch an earlier train, bus, metro, or tram. That way, you will be on time even if there is a delay.
Use a P&R (Park & Ride) – Prefer to go by car? You can also park it at a P&R (car park) near a station. From there, you can travel by public transport to the airport. This is often cheaper than parking at the airport.

To Schiphol Airport by train or bus
There are several ways to travel to and from Schiphol Airport. For example, by train or bus. Which way is most convenient for you?
By train to Schiphol Airport
Schiphol Airport has its own train station. Schiphol Airport Station is located directly below the Schiphol reception hall. Direct trains run to this station from several places in the Netherlands. This is convenient because it allows you to travel to the airport by train easily and quickly.
Express or local train – Direct trains run from several cities in the Netherlands to Schiphol Airport Station.
The Intercity direct – Travelling from Rotterdam Centraal or Breda to Schiphol Airport? Then you can also take the Intercity direct. This train travels just a bit faster than a normal Intercity train. Therefore, you must pay an extra surcharge when travelling on this train. You pay the extra cost at a red surcharge kiosk on the platform, at an NS ticket machine, or at the service desk at the station.
The night train – Sometimes you need to be at Schiphol before the train timetable has started. Overnight trains run on some days and times. Arriva night train from Groningen and Maastricht to Schiphol Airport
Did you know that you can buy e-tickets for the Arriva night train in the 9292 app? This train runs once a week on Friday nights from Groningen and Maastricht to Schiphol Airport. On Saturday morning, the train runs from Schiphol Airport back to Groningen and Maastricht. Depending on where you board, a ticket costs €5, €10, or €15 (excluding service charges).
By bus to Schiphol Airport

Eindhoven Airport does not have a train station. You can get there easily by bus. The bus stop is in front of the airport entrance.
From Eindhoven Centraal Station to the airport
Need to come from far away? Then it is smart to travel to Eindhoven Centraal by train. From there, buses travel to Eindhoven Airport. By bus, it takes about 20 minutes.
Shuttlebus 400 is a direct bus with no intermediate stops.
Bus line 401 stops at intermediate stops.
From Best Station, you can also travel to Eindhoven Airport by bus. You will need to take bus line 20.

Groningen Airport Eelde does not have a train station. You can get there easily by bus from Groningen Centraal.
From Groningen Centraal to the airport
The easiest option to get to Groningen Airport Eelde is to travel from Groningen Centraal. Getting there by train is easy.
Bus line 9 runs every hour and every half past the hour from Groningen Centraal Station to the airport. This bus takes 40 minutes.
Shuttle bus 100 runs once or twice a day from Groningen Centraal Station and Groningen Zuiderdiep Station to the airport. Check the 9292 journey planner to make sure this bus is running for your journey to the airport.
From Assen Centraal Station to the airport
It is also possible to travel to the airport from Assen Centraal Station.
Take the bus line 50 towards Groningen Centraal Station. Transfer to bus 9 towards Groningen Noord at bus stop De Punt. Both bus routes travel twice an hour.

Rotterdam The Hague Airport does not have a train station. You can easily travel to the airport from Rotterdam Centraal and Den Haag Centraal by bus and metro.
From Rotterdam Centraal Station to the airport
You can travel to the airport from Rotterdam Centraal in two ways:
Metro and bus – Take metro line E from Rotterdam Centraal towards The Hague. Transfer to bus 33 towards Rotterdam The Hague Airport at the stop ‘Meijersplein’. It will take 30 minutes to arrive at the airport.
Bus – Take bus line 33 at Rotterdam Centraal. This bus runs directly to Rotterdam The Hague Airport. It will take 20 minutes to arrive at the airport.

From Den Haag Centraal Station to the airport
Travelling from Den Haag Centraal to the airport is also quick and easy.
Take metro line E towards Rotterdam/Slinge. Transfer to bus 33 towards Rotterdam The Hague Airport at the stop ‘Meijersplein’. The complete journey takes about 45 minutes.
