Experience spring in Keukenhof

Travel by Keukenhof Express from Amsterdam or Schiphol Airport

Planning on visiting the Keukenhof? The easiest way to get there is to travel by public transport. The Keukenhof Express will take you from Schiphol Airport. Leiden, Amsterdam or Haarlem directly to the main entrance of Keukenhof. There are several busses travelling to Keukenhof which means you will get there in no time. Travel by train to Schiphol Airport, Leiden Centraal, Amsterdam Europaplein (RAI) or Haarlem and transfer to the Keukenhof Express (bus lines 852, 854, 858, 859 and line 50). This way you no longer need to queue at the ticket machine on the station to get your public transport tickets. How to travel to Keukenhof

  • From Europaplein (RAI) Amsterdam you travel directly with the Keukenhof Express (line 852) to Keukenhof. This bus line runs up to 8 times an hour and drops you off at Keukenhof in about 35 minutes.

  • From the center of Amsterdam you first travel to Schiphol Airport:
    From Leidseplein, Concertgebouw or Museumplein take bus 397;
    From Amsterdam Bijlmer and Amstelveen take bus 300;
    From Station Zuid take bus 341.

  • At Schiphol Airport take the Keukenhof Express (line 858). This bus line runs up to 6 times an hour from Arrival hall 3-4 and drops you off at Keukenhof in about 30 minutes.

  • From Leiden Central station you can take the Keukenhof Express (bus line 854). This bus runs up to 4 times an hour and takes you to Keukenhof in 30 minutes. The bus departs from the bus station on the side of the the railway station that leads towards the city center of Leiden.

  • From Haarlem Central Station: on weekdays you can take bus line 50. Arriva bus line 50 from Haarlem station runs 4 times an hour during the week, and departs from the bus station near Haarlem station towards the city center of Haarlem. On weekends, the bus runs twice an hour. The bus will take you to Keukenhof in 40 minutes, where you get off at the Meer en Duin stop in Lisse. It is then a 12-minute walk to the main entrance.

    On weekends and public holidays, you can travel from Haarlem Central Station with the Keukenhof Express (line 850) to Keukenhof. The bus departs twice an hour from the bus station near Haarlem Station towards the city center of Haarlem and takes you to Keukenhof in 40 minutes.

  • From Katwijk, Noordwijk and Noordwijkerhout you travel with line 90 in the direction of Keukenhof. This runs once an hour to the Keukenhofdreef stop in Lisse. It is then a 5-minute walk to Keukenhof.
