Nationwide public transport strike
FNV has announced a nationwide public transport strike for Wednesday 9 September. The strike will last 24 hours.Construction work on the train tracks
No trains between Zwolle and Dalfsen/Meppel
On 5 and 6 September, ProRail will carry out work on the train tracks between Zwolle and Meppel, and between Zwolle and Dalfsen. No trains will operate between these stations on those days.
No trains between Roosendaal and Dordrecht
From 31 August to 11 September, ProRail will be working on the train tracks between Roosendaal and Dordrecht. NS will provide replacement buses.
No trains to, from, or via Zutphen
On 12 and 13 September, ProRail will carry out work on the train tracks around Zutphen.Construction work on the road
There are also roadworks. These will affect buses and trams too.
Construction work in Den Haag (The Hague)
From 1 June to 2 October, engineering works will take place at Rijswijkseplein in Den Haag (The Hague). Tram tracks and road surfaces are being renewed, which will cause traffic disruption.Papendrechtsebrug (bridge) (N3) closed
From 17 July 2026 to 21 April 2027, the Papendrechtsebrug will be closed. All buses that normally cross the bridge will therefore run on diversion routes.
