Construction work by ProRail in the province of Noord-Holland
Below, you can read where and when the works are taking place in North-Holland.
Alkmaar - Hoorn (5 t/m 12 October)
Due to engineering works, no trains will run between Alkmaar and Hoorn. NS will provide replacement buses between Alkmaar and Hoorn.

Haarlem - Leiden (10 t/m 12 October)
From 10 to 12 October, buses will run between Haarlem and Leiden Centraal.
Between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Leiden Centraal, travel via Schiphol Airport.
Replacement buses will stop at Haarlem, Heemstede-Aerdenhout, Hillegom, Voorhout and Leiden Centraal.

Amsterdam Centraal - Alkmaar (12 t/m 18 October)
Due to construction works, buses will run between Wormerveer and Uitgeest.
12 to 14 October:
If you are travelling from Amsterdam Centraal towards Uitgeest, take the Intercity via Haarlem.
Between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Uitgeest, travel via Haarlem.
16 to 17 October:
If you are travelling from Zaandam towards Alkmaar, take the Intercity via Hoorn.
Between Zaandam and Alkmaar, travel via Hoorn.
17 to 18 October:
If you are travelling from Amsterdam Centraal towards Uitgeest, take the Intercity via Haarlem.
Between Amsterdam Sloterdijk and Uitgeest, travel via Haarlem.
