1. Stadsrondje Zutphen (station loop)
Zutphen, in the province of Gelderland, is known for its many towers. This station loop takes you past medieval gates, forests, and meadows. Cycle along the tranquil waters of the Berkel, IJssel, and Twente Canal rivers. And take a break in one of the many historic or trendy, industrial cafés.

2. Breeding Grounds: Amsterdam Breweries
Do you love beer? And cycling? Then this route is perfect for you! Hop on your bike and visit six different breweries with tasting rooms. All in the trendy Amsterdam North and East districts.
Starting point: Amsterdam Central Station, IJ side
Length: 13.5 kilometers
Tip – Don't have a bike in Amsterdam? Pick up a shared bike at Amsterdam Central Station and take it with you on the free ferry. You pay for a public transport bike per 24 hours. This gives you plenty of time to pop into a brewery and have a beer every now and then.

3. Liberation Route
It's sometimes called the "Forgotten Battle," the fierce battle fought by American and British troops around Overloon (Brabant) in October 1944. Cycle through this area on the Liberation Route. You'll even cycle through a museum. It's even more interesting if you download the Venray Remembers app. It provides information about the history of this route. The starting point is a 10-minute bike ride from Venray Station.

4. Doortraproute Ede
This route around Ede leads you through forests and heathland, with beautiful viewpoints and a focus on the history of the area. There are several places to relax along the way.
Doortraproutes are comfortable and enjoyable cycling circuits of 20 to 25 kilometers on wide, quiet roads with few obstacles. They are designed with seniors in mind, but of course suitable for everyone.

Tip – Do you need a shared bike to cycle this route? OV-fietsen (public transport bikes) are available for rent at Leiden Central Station. From there, it's a 10-minute cycle to the starting point of this cycle route.
