Nationwide public transport strike on Wednesday 9 September

FNV has said that it will announce the exact start and end times of the strike in September.

Why is this temporary strike happening?

The trade union is protesting against the cabinet's plans to cut funds on social security and pensions. The FNV states that the reason for the strike applies not only to public transport employees, but to everyone in the Netherlands.
