As of now, you can find shared electric bikes from world's biggest shared mobility operator via the 9292 app.
Lime has renewed their permit in Rotterdam to place their shared electric bikes throughout the city. Plan your journey in the 9292 app and find a Lime e-bike near you (in Rotterdam).
In February 2025, Lime will add more e-bikes, which will bring the total amount of e-bikes in Rotterdam to 1,650 e-bikes.
Click on the menu icon at the top left of the home screen.
Tap on 'Renting nearby'.
Tap on 'Search location, address, etc.' at the top of the screen and enter the location where you would like to find a shared bike or shared scooter.
Select 'Bikes', 'Electric Bikes', or 'Scooters' above the map based on your preference.
Click on the icon on the map and you will get more information about the shared bike or shared scooter.
Do you want to use the shared bike or shared scooter on the map? How you can use it differs depending on the type of bike or scooter. Check the conditions on the website of the shared bike or shared scooter operator for the conditions.
Tip– Are you zoomed out on the map? Then you won't see any shared bikes or shared scooters, even though there might be some nearby. So, make sure you are zoomed in far enough to see the shared bikes or shared scooters.
Plan your journey in the 9292 app by filling in your starting point and destination.
Tap on 'Begin' or 'End' and tap on 'by bike', 'by electric bike', or 'by scooter'.
If there are shared bikes or shared scooters in the area, this will be included in your travel advice.
Valuable addition to public transport in Rotterdam
Since 2020, Lime adds a valuable mode of transport to public transport in Rotterdam. Lime's e-bikes are not only used by residents and commuters, but also by tourists. In the past five years, Lime's e-bikes have travelled 1.8 million kilometers in Rotterdam.
