Carnaval in Noord-Brabant
In Noord-Brabant, additional buses will operate during (and around) Carnaval in Bergen op Zoom, Breda, ’s-Hertogenbosch (Den Bosch), Roosendaal and Tilburg.

Carnaval in Maastricht
In Maastricht, Arriva will operate special “borrel buses” from 14 to 17 February. These buses run until 3:35 a.m. You can board all borrel bus lines at the Boschstraat / Maagdendries stop in Maastricht. The borrel buses serve several destinations.

Bus line 152: Heer - De Heeg
Bus line 153: Eijsden - Gronsveld

Carnaval is, of course, a celebration for everyone. We want to keep it enjoyable for all passengers. Therefore, we ask you to follow the rules of public transport. For example, make sure you have a valid ticket , clean up after yourself, and avoid sitting in quiet carriages with your group.

Tips for travelling during Carnaval
Expect trains and buses to be busy.
The very last bus may be full. Keep this in mind and, if possible, avoid taking the very last bus to make sure you get home.
Make sure you have a valid ticket . Check in with your OV-chipkaart, OV-pass or debit card, or buy an e-ticket in the 9292 app .
