Plan your journey during the Christmas break
During the Christmas break (from 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026), most public transport operators operate a different time table.

The timetable can be found in our travel planner on the 9292 website and in the 9292 app.

Select the date and time for your departure or arrival.

The timetable during the holidays
Public transport will operate a different timetable on both Christmas days (25 and 26 December), New Year's Eve (31 December) and New Year's Day (1 January). The changes for these days have been added to the 9292 planner on the website and in the 9292 app.
Christmas days (25 and 26 December 2024)
During the Christmas days, most carriers will operate according to the Sunday timetable.
New Year's Eve (31 December 2024)
On New Year's Eve, the Saturday timetable applies until 8:00 PM. After 8:00 PM, most public transport operators stop operating. Make sure you leave on time so that you arrive at your final destination.
After midnight, only the night trains and a few night buses will operate again.
NS trains between Schiphol Airport station and Amsterdam Centraal station will be operated until 10:00 PM.
New Year's Day (1 January 2025)
On New Year's Day the Sunday timetable applies.
NS trains will start again after 10:00 AM.
The timetable during the Christmas holidays
Most operators will operate from 20 December 2025 to 4 January 2026 according to an adjusted holiday timetable. This means that weekdays will have a similar timetable to weekend days.
