Disruption Schiphol Airport Station
Since the morning of Tuesday 24 June, no trains are running to, from, or via Schiphol Airport. This is due to a power outage caused by a fire. According to ProRail, the disruption is expected to last until late this evening.
Because of the NATO Summit, fewer buses are running to, from, and via Schiphol. NS is also not providing replacement buses, as the disruption is too extensive. Please check your journey before departure using the 9292 travel planner on our website or in the app.
Impact on public transport in other cities
Fewer intercity trains are running between Leiden and The Hague, and between Rotterdam and Breda. This is also due to the disruption caused by the fire. Metro line E between The Hague and Rotterdam is not operating in either direction due to voltage issues. Transport company RET advises passengers to seek alternative transport.
