Construction work in Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Hague)

This summer, ProRail is carrying out construction work on the railway in Rotterdam and Den Haag (The Hague).

Do you have to travel from, to, or via Rotterdam Centraal station and/or Den Haag Centraal station during this period? Plan your trip in the 9292 planner or in the 9292 app . Make sure to check your journey just before departure to avoid surprises.

From 21 to 24 July

No trains between Rotterdam Centraal and Zwijndrecht

  • NS replacement buses will be available.

  • Travelling between Rotterdam Centraal and Dordrecht? Take the metro between Rotterdam Centraal and Slinge station. From there, NS replacement buses will take you to Dordrecht.

No trains between Rotterdam Centraal and Breda

  • NS replacement buses will be available.

  • International trains

    • EuroCity and EuroCity Direct depart from Breda to Brussels.

    • Eurostar to Paris runs between Amsterdam and Antwerp via Utrecht. It does not stop in Rotterdam.

    • Eurostar to London does not run in the Netherlands. It departs from Brussels.

Your NS train ticket is also valid on the metro between Slinge metro station and Rotterdam Centraal station on these days.

  • Travel via Den Haag Laan van NOI station.

From 28 to 31 July

No trains between Schiedam Centrum station and Den Haag Hollands Spoor station

  • NS will operate replacement buses.

  • Or travel via Den Haag Centraal station, Gouda and Rotterdam Centraal station.

  • The works will start on 7 August at approximately 13:00.

  • Travel via Den Haag Centraal station.

9 August

No trains between Den Haag Hollands Spoor station and Den Haag Mariahoeve station

  • Travel via Den Haag Centraal station.

No trains between Leiden Centraal station and Alphen aan den Rijn station

  • Travel via Gouda.

Fewer trains between Den Haag Hollands Spoor station, Den Haag Centraal station and Leiden Centraal station

22 and 23 August

No trains between Rotterdam Centraal station and Gouda station

  • NS will operate replacement buses.

From 25 to 29 August

No trains between Rotterdam Centraal station and Delft Campus station

  • NS will operate replacement buses.

  • Travelling between Rotterdam Centraal station and Den Haag Centraal station? Travel via Gouda.
