Buses and trams from public transport operators EBS, GVB, HTM, and RET are participating in this action. Travellers will receive a warning in advance. The protest will last 20 seconds in total.
Why are they protesting?
In the week of 9 June, the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) will discuss the Spring Memorandum. This includes planned cutbacks that, according to the public transport operators, will have major consequences. The total damage would amount to 335 million euros.
