To the 4Days Marches in Nijmegen by Public Transport

Heading to Nijmegen to walk the 4Days Marches or to party during the "Vierdaagsefeesten" parties? The best way to reach the city during this busy week is by public transport. The Wedren — the start and finish area in the city centre — is also easy to reach by train or bus.

Extra buses and trains will be running, including longer trains to handle the crowds. Whether you’re walking, cheering or celebrating — public transport takes you right into the heart of Nijmegen.

Buses during the 4Daagse in Nijmegen

During the day, buses follow the regular summer schedule. However, some routes may be altered due to road closures for walkers. Always check the 9292 planner shortly before departure to ensure your connection is up to date.

Get to the start on time with an early Vroegbus

From 15 to 18 July, special “Vroegbussen” (early buses) help walkers get to the start line on time. You can find these services in the 9292 travel planner.

Please note – Public transport cards (OV-chipkaart) are not valid on Vroegbussen. You’ll need a separate ticket or a Blarenpas to board.

Blarenpas

Planning to take the Vroegbus? Then you’ll need a Blarenpas. You can buy one at the Breng info stand at the Wedren on Sunday 13 July and Monday 14 July, or all week in the ticket hall at Nijmegen station.
