Personal OV-chipkaart

The card has the following features:

• You can apply for a personal OV-chipkaart on OV-chipkaart's website or on the website of the public transport companies.
• Your foto, contact information and date of birth will be on the card.
• The personal OV-chipkaart cannot be used by anyone else.
• Can be used for both travelling on credit and for season tickets, or both.
• It is suited for travelling with a discount, for example for children and people over the age of 65.
• Credit can be uploaded to your card automatically.
• You can block the card in case it gets lost or stolen.
• Provides an online overview of your travel history on My OV-chipkaart.
