OV-chipkaart
The OV-chipkaart is used to pay for public transportation.
As of November 3rd 2011, it is only possible to travel with the OV-Chipkaart on bus, tram and metro in the whole country. The OV-Chipkaart has a chip and can be recognised by the pink logo.
There are some exceptions, like ferries or local shuttle buses who require a fixed fee.
