This does not apply when you change from one NS train to another. It does apply when changing from NS trains to Syntus, Veolia, Connexxion, Arriva trains and back.
How to interrupt my journey?
If you wish to interrupt your train journey for a few hours, you need to check out and in again. If you travel via a detour, you need to check out and in again at this intermediate station.
