Do you only travel by public transport once in a while?
The OV-chipkaart is the means of payment for bus, tram, metro transport. You can upload your card with a balance in euros, which you can use everywhere. Or you can upload a travel product.
How to buy a single ticket?
You can buy a single ticket in the bus or tram. For the metro you can buy single tickets in the self-service ticket machine.
To check the possible single ticket for bus, tram or metro we have a special tool:
- request travel advice on 9292.nl
- click on 'Show detailed price overview' located under the travel advice
- click on 'All possible fares? Click here'
- select the fourth tab which concerns single tickets
In ferry services or community buses fixed rates are being used.
